Winehouse-Bennett Collaboration to Benefit Charity |
| Aug 05 2011 |

A collaboration between Tony Bennett and the late Amy Winehouse will help young people battling drug addiction. Appearing on the Today Show, Bennett said that royalties from "Body and Soul" from his upcoming Duets II album will go directly to a foundation being started by Winehouse's father. "What's going to happen is that we will put that [song] out ahead of the album. Her father started [a foundation] to teach young children not to take drugs. All the royalties from the record will go to that." Bennett recalled working with Winehouse, just prior to her passing on July 27. "That was the last record she made. It was great, she sang beautifully." Duets II is out in September, but is available for pre-order now on iTunes and Amazon.
