John Mayer has long talked about hosting his own TV show -- and has even signed a deal with CBS to do so. So what's taking so long? Back in 2009, the singer announced that he was developing a music/variety/sketch show with the network -- but lately, things have gone quiet on that front, leading to rumors that the project has been axed. But a CBS exec says the show is still in the pipeline, with Mayer working on ideas for it during breaks in the recording of his next album. Stay tuned.
