The tragic passing of Amy Winehouse over the weekend has brought an outpouring of tributes from fellow musical artists. Among those remembering the 27-year old British singer is Tony Bennett, who recorded a collaboration with her earlier this year, for his upcoming Duets II album, out in September.  Prior to her passing, he told The Guardian, "Amy Winehouse was my favorite to perform with on the whole album. Every great artist I ever met - Frank Sinatra, Lena Horne, Pearl Bailey, Duke Ellington - before they'd hit the stage they were wondering if everything was going to work and they had that nervousness. Amy Winehouse was like that. She was very apprehensive as to what was going to happen."  He added that people warned him against working with her, due to her persistent drug and alcohol problems.  But one comment instantly eased her -- and his -- fears. "What turned the key ... was when I said to Amy: 'You know you sound a little like one of the great jazz singers, Dinah Washington.' From the minute she heard that her eyes popped wide open and [she was] completely inspired. She said 'You know that I like Dinah Washington' and I said, 'it just sounds wonderful'."  Once he paid her that compliment, he says that Winehouse relaxed and the session went great.  Winehouse was found dead in her London home on Saturday [July 23].
