Seal Shares 'Commitment" to Yearly Vows |
| Sep 28 2010 |

With the release today [Sept. 28] of Seal’s new album, Commitment, we’re getting a look inside at one of the commitment rituals he performs yearly with wife Heidi Klum. The couple, who married in 2005, have become known for renewing their wedding vows each year, turning the event into a party for friends and family. This year’s theme was “brides and grooms” – but Seal admits he was less than enthused over Heidi’s idea. He told a British chat show, “I thought [it] was silly when she first mentioned it, but it was fantastic. All the guys came as bridegrooms and the women came as brides. And everyone got to renew their vows, whether they were married or not! It looked like a scene from a movie set. A couple of our gay friends came as brides and brides, dressed as Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride.” Hopefully, he'll have gotten the rice out of his tux by the time he appears in Las Vegas on Oct. 15.
