Sade Limits Collaborations |
| Oct 20 2010 |

Sade is notoriously private, known for taking her time with her albums. Case in point: the 10-year span between Lover’s Rock and her newest work, Soldier Of Love. She’s also very choosy about who she writes songs with; Sade tells Billboard that she turned down a chance to work with Jay-Z, among other hip-hop stars. Reason? "I'm too scared. They'll find me out. It's like The Wizard of Oz. They'll find out there's nothing there…As for collaborations, I'm collaborating with the band and do what we do. I see myself as a member of this band who does these songs that we write." Sade’s second single from Soldier of Love, "Babyfather," is currently on the charts. She’ll be sharing that and other songs when she and the band head out on their world tour 2011.
