Rod Stewart admits he cried when he found out he and his wife, Penny, were expecting a child. But he also stresses that he's no pushover as a dad. In an interview with The Mirror, Stewart shares the difficulties they had conceiving through IVF. "I couldn't bear seeing the sadness on her face. You have to wait for weeks to know whether its worked...It's crushing when it doesn't." When their third attempt worked, "I burst into tears in this restaurant. She was crying. I was crying. It was very special." The couple have a four-year old son, Alistair -- and their newest addition, another boy, is due in February. With his six kids from previous relationships, Stewart takes a firm hand. "I bloody well am strict...When we go out to meals, all mobile phones are put in the middle of the table...I believe in tough love. I just wish one of them would get a job. It'd be nice to see another wage slip coming into the house." Stewart just announced he and Stevie Nicks will be heading out together on the "Heart and Soul Tour."
