Richard Elliot Releases 'In The Zone' |

Richard Elliot is celebrating 25 years since his debut album, Trolltown, was released. His brand new album In The Zone, in stores October 11, is full of his signature soul jazz sounds. Paying homage to artists who were major influences on his style like Grover Washington, Jr., Bob James and David Sanborn, Elliot worked with co-producer Jeff Lorber on the effort. The first single is called "Boom Town" and he also includes a cover of the Marvin Gaye classic "Inner City Blues". Elliot is on tour with Norman Brown this month and is set to perform tonight at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center.
