Phil Collins' Spooky Confessions

Whether he was joking or not, Phil Collins admits he’s considered committing suicide. In an interview with RollingStone.com, he says there are moments when he’s wanted “to write this Phil Collins character out of the story,” citing a 60s-era comedian (Tony Hancock) who killed himself, leaving behind a note that read, “Too many things went wrong too often.” “I often think about that,” says Collins. But he admits that his children prevent him from ever taking that drastic step. He currently lives in Switzerland with them, where he’s working on a book about one of his passions, the Alamo. Collins believes he’s caught ghostly activity in photos that he took at the site of that famous 1836 battle. He adds that a psychic once told him he’d been part of it in a past life. About the photos, he says, "It's paranormal energy. I don't want to sound like a weirdo. I'm not Shirley MacLaine, but I'm prepared to believe. You've seen the pictures. You can't deny them, so therefore it's possible that I was there in another life."
