Paul McCartney to release "Kisses On The Bottom" Feb. 7 |

Paul McCartney announced the title of his new album will be Kisses On The Bottom. The project is due out on February 7th and features some of his favorite standards plus two new songs. Paul says, "I always thought artists like Fred Astair were very cool. Writers like Harold Arlen, Cole Porter, all of those guys - I just thought the songs were magical. And then, as I got to be a songwriter I thought it's beautiful, the way they made those songs." The album is McCartney's first full studio project in five years and he says the songs he selected to cover on the album inspired him when he and John Lennon first started songwriting. As for the two new compositions, Eric Clapton guests on the tune "My Valentine" and Stevie Wonder helps out on "Only Our Hearts."
