Natalie Cole’s life has been a little extra dramatic these last couple of years…and she’s about to share this chapter in an all-new memoir to be published next month. Love Brought Me Back: A Journey of Loss and Gain will detail Cole’s struggle with hepatitis C and kidney disease, including her kidney transplant on the day her sister passed. The 60-year old singer released her autobiography, Angel On My Shoulder, in 2000. This follow-up promises to be a little different: besides her health struggles, Cole shares memories of the singers who’ve influenced her over the years, such as her father Nat “King” Cole, Frank Sinatra and Sarah Vaughn. Cole’s publisher describes the book as highlighting "her sometimes turbulent life experiences as well as her strong religious faith, positive attitude, an impassioned belief in the value of friends, and a reliance on the sustaining power of love.” Look for it on November 9.
