Michael McDonald working on 2 New Albums |

Michael McDonald has been working on two albums, one with long-time friend, guitarist Robben Ford and the other with his son Dylan. On the project with Ford, McDonald says he plans to release the songs via social media initially, to "see if it captures the public's imagination," before deciding on whether to release the full album. As for the project with his son, there are several covers from artists like Bob Marley, the Beach Boys and Radiohead plus originals from Dylan and one new song penned by Michael. He expects to finish mixing the tracks by the end of the year and will begin posting them online.
