The 2011 'VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul' show is set for December 19 at 9pm and Mary J. Blige, Kelly Clarkson, Jill Scott and Jennifer Hudson are all on the bill to perform. VH1 will pay tribute to prominent birthplaces of soul music, including Chicago, Detroit, London, Memphis and Philadelphia. The divas will perform their own soulful tracks as well as some of the genre's classic tunes at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom. Meanwhile, Blige has announced she'll perform in New York City on November 23, to commemorate the 17th anniversary of the release of her 1994 album My Life. Her tenth studio album, My Life II...The Journey Continues (Act 1), is set to drop November 21.
