To honor the occasion, a series of tribute concerts are being lined up with artists including Stevie Wonder, John Legend and The Roots paying homage to the late singer. The series will kick off on May 3 and 4 with the National Symphony Orchestra at Washington DC's Kennedy Center. Later this summer, other artists will join the roster at the Hollywood Bowl in L.A.
