Mariah Carey had so much fun working with her mother, Patricia, that she’s hoping the two can record more material together. The elder Carey is a trained opera singer who appears on two tracks on her daughter’s Merry Christmas II You album. Mariah tells People, “…I guess it was only a matter of time before we both got onto a record together. It was a lovely experience being in the studio together, and I'm very happy that I have this documented for the rest of my life."
