The “is she-isn’t she pregnant” rumors continue to swirl around Mariah Carey. Hollybaby.com is now reporting that the singer is expecting a baby boy in March. A source tells the website, "She's having a boy, but the reason that Mariah didn't want to say anything is because she is 40, and she's superstitious. But she's going to appear on Oprah and The View, so she's planning on making the announcement soon." Carey will be doing a round of press appearances to promote her new holiday album, Merry Christmas II You.
If the baby news is true, it could add a new wrinkle to reports that Simon Cowell wants her to join the judging panel of the US version of his talent show, The X Factor. Britain’s Sunday Mirror reports that she’s currently in negotiations and wants to be part of it, assuming it fits her work (and mommy) schedule.
