Mariah Carey’s planning a holiday special for her fans – and anyone else who happens to be near a TV on Dec. 13. People.com reports that “Mariah Carey: Merry Christmas To You” will air on ABC (9 PM, ET) and feature Carey at L.A.’s historic Orpheum Theater. She’ll be performing songs from her new Merry Christmas II You (the Collector’s Edition is out today, Nov. 2), along with other seasonal favorites. Also, Carey will surprise fans by granting some holiday wishes. In related news, the mom-to-be may be finding a whole bunch of new shoes under her Christmas tree this year. Husband Nick Cannon has been trying to convince her to give up high heels during the pregnancy in exchange for more sensible flats – but she doesn’t own any. He told listeners of his radio show that he’s been hitting the stores – and Carey posted a photo on Twitter of herself surrounded by boxes, "Nick just brought me home like 20 pairs of FLATS on his eternal quest to convert me!"
