Ever since his daughter Nicole was four, she talked about having an elephant at her wedding. So dad Lionel Richie decided to indulge her when she married this past December at his Los Angeles estate. However, the safari-vibe didn't go over particularly well with him. The singer told MusicRooms.net that he was terrified of the pachyderm. "I don't know where it came from. All I know is I was terrified when it walked in and I was just glad when they came and picked it up." That fear hasn't discouraged Nicole from her OTHER wish -- to have pet elephants for her two kids, which she's also hoping Grampa will provide. Try goldfish first, Lionel.
