Kenny G starts a new gig this weekend, hosting a new radio show on Los Angeles radio station KKJZ-FM. The two-hour program, is called "C to C with Kenny G" -- the two "C"s representing "classic to contemporary." Kenny will be playing a wide range of jazz-oriented music, from Dave Brubeck to Esperanza Spalding. In a statement, he said, "I love jazz and grew up listening to all the great masters...as well as the more contemporary instrumentalists. My new program will draw from jazz-oriented music recorded throughout my lifetime." This isn't his first go-round with radio: he's currently co-hosting morning drive on the satellite-delivered Smooth Jazz Network.
