John Mayer's Throat Issues |

John Mayer has cancelled two upcoming concerts and postponed the release of his new CD, Born And Raised, due to a throat illness. He's been diagnosed with a granuloma - an inflamed nodule of tissue - near his vocal chords. He was scheduled to perform with Tony Bennett in Los Angeles and then again in Las Vegas this weekend. The album he says, "is complete as far as music recording, song selection and in some cases mixing, but because of this condition I couldn't finish singing on several of the tracks." The new release date is tentatively set for next fall.
