John Legend is gonna be “waking up” a little earlier than usual on Friday, Sept, 24, when he appears on ABC’s Good Morning America. It’s another stop on the promo circuit, following the release earlier this week of his new album with the Roots, Wake Up! Legend is also taping an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon for broadcast the night of the 24th. Wake Up! revisits some of the great socially-conscious hits of the 60s and 70s; the title track is a cover of Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes’ "Wake Up, Everybody." Look for more TV shots in coming weeks when Legend visits The View, Jay Leno and Dancing With the Stars.
