Jason Mraz' New Music

Jason Mraz has felt inspired lately: he reportedly has not one, but two, albums’ worth of material ready to follow up 2008’s We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things (which featured the smash, “I’m Yours”). The singer tells Billboard , "I've got two very different-sounding albums. If I cut all of the material in half, I've got something that's fresh for the summer, ready for people to dance to, and I've got something else that's a little different, a little more lush and tender. I kinda hope that I do [have two albums] because I've been doing three years between each album now...But I've got so much stuff right now that it hurts my feelings to leave some of it off one album, and I would like to know that I'll have a follow-up album all ready to go." Among the tracks Mraz has recorded are collaborations with Dido, Willie Nelson and Brazilian artist Milton Nascimento. He also did an unreleaased Roy Orbison song entitled “The Way Is Love” which Orbison was demo’ing shortly before his death. Mraz says he hopes to have the project ready for release in early 2011.
