Herbie Hancock To Play Nobel Peace Concert |

Herbie Hancock has been tapped to perform at this year’s Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Oslo, Norway. The show is scheduled for Dec. 11, with Denzel Washington hosting. Other musical guests included Colbie Caillat, Elvis Costello and Florence and the Machine; more artists are expected to be announced soon.
Hancock is currently touring Europe and the UK with his Imagine Project Band. In a statement, Hancock said, "The goal of 'The Imagine Project' is to spread the message of global peace through music, and the Nobel Peace Prize concert could not be a more perfect opportunity.”
The Imagine Project was released earlier this year and features collaborations with John Legend, Seal, India.Arie, Chaka Khan and more.
