Happy Birthday to Toni Braxton who celebrates today (October 7). Born in Severn, Maryland she grew up watching Soul Train with her sisters and was influenced by Stevie Wonder and Chaka Khan. Discovered by Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds and Antonio "L.A. Reid", she released her self titled debut album in 1993 and has gone on to win six Grammy Awards. Braxton has starred in two Disney Broadway shows, "Beauty And The Beast" and "Aida", and is set to launch the second season of her reality TV show Braxton Family Values on November 10.
