El DeBarge Returns to Rehab |

El DeBarge has entered a rehab center and dropped out of a tour that was set to kick off this week in Texas. The 49-year old singer, who has a long history of battling drug abuse, released a statement saying he voluntarily checked in to the facility to deal with issues relating to his decades-old problem. "I hate to disappoint my fans but it is necessary for me to take the time to work on me so that I may continue to share my music and my story with everyone." DeBarge had a much-vaunted comeback last year, with a performance at the BET Awards, two Grammy nominations for his first album in 16 years (Second Chance) and a tour with Mary J. Blige.
