Dave Koz wins Soul Train Award |

The 2011 Soul Train Awards aired last night (November 27) on BET and Dave Koz took home the Contemporary Jazz Award for his Hello Tomorrow album. Other nominees in the category included Boney James, Fourplay, Michael Franks and Paul Hardcastle. Jill Scott picked up the Best Female R&B/Soul Artist Award, while Beyonce took the Best Dance Performance. Meanwhile, the Dave Koz & Friends Christmas Tour 2011, featuring guests Rick Braun, Jonathan Butler and Candy Dulfer, rolls into Naples, Florida tonight.
