Dave Koz has fulfilled a lot of things on his musical Bucket List – performing at the Grammys, working with artists including Stevie Wonder and Luther Vandross, and getting a chance to try his vocal chops on his current album, Hello Tomorrow (he covers Herb Alperts, "This Guy's In Love With You").  But there’s one project that he hopes to make a reality one day. In an interview with JazzTimes, Koz says,” My dream album is to—now this may just be in my head and of course I’ve not talked to her about it—but I would like to re-create the Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley album with k.d. lang. That’s something that’s in my mind. She’s one of my all-time favorites.” She’s not alone on that list: “I love Norah Jones too…As far as communicators are concerned, there’s Joni Mitchell who is unbelievable. George Benson is so filled with talent too…. And…there’s this singer that just came out last year named Janelle Monaet—unbelievable, an incredible spirit that just came out of nowhere. It’s like ‘Wow, who’s that?’”  Koz is currently on the charts with “Put The Top Down” from Hello Tomorrow. He’s also planning his annual holiday tour which kicks off after Thanksgiving.
