Daryl Hall to Release Solo Album |

Daryl Hall is in the process of finishing up his first solo project in a dozen years. Laughing Down Crying [Verve] will be out this fall, but Hall gave Billboard.com a sneak peek. "It's relatively stripped down. It's got a lot of heart. It deals with a pretty intense emotional landscape...stylistically, I'd call it sort of the box set of my mind." Hall is using several of the musicians from his band, along with a few special guests "which I don't want to talk about yet."
