Colbie Caillat has joined the American Cancer Society’s “More Birthdays” campaign. She joins artists including Jack Johnson, Maroon 5, Train and Justin Bieber among others in singing her rendition of “Happy Birthday.” The videos are meant to raise awareness of cancer prevention – and can be sent as a birthday greeting. She wrote on her blog, “Hey everyone! I got a great opportunity to be part of…[the] campaign!...The movement for more birthdays is about everyday people, just like you, coming together to make a difference. This year more than 11 million cancer survivors will celebrate another birthday, thanks in part to the progress we’ve already made. But we can’t stop there. With every person who joins the movement, we can get closer to the day when cancer never steals another year from someone’s life.”   Caillat is also one of the newest artists to join VH-1’s upcoming “Best Cruise Ever” set for April 2011. The four-night cruise from Tampa, FL to Cozumel, Mexico, will also include the bands Train and Lifehouse.
