With the arrival of fall this week, seems like a good time to mention the Rehoboth Beach Autumn Jazz Festival, which is slated for Oct. 13-17 in the Delaware resort town. As noted on thesmoothjazzride.com, among those set to perform are Nick Colionne, Boney James, Four 80 East, Steve Cole, Marc Antoine, Jackiem Joyner and Brian Simpson. Gerald Veasley heads a Salute to the Philly Sound with guests Will Downing, Walter Beasley and Colionne, while Jason Miles presents Remembering A Legend….Celebrating the Music of Grover Washington Jr. Gerald Albright and Jeff Golub are among the artists who’ll take part in the tribute.
