Beyonce's Commercial Too Hot for UK

Oh, those Brits: a TV spot for Beyonce’s new perfume, Heat, has been banned from daytime TV in Britain. The commercial shows the singer lounging on a bed in a sexy red dress, stroking her thighs, before walking away from the camera. The UK’s Advertising Standards Authority have decided the commercial is too hot to handle, at least until 7:30 PM when the kids presumably aren’t watching. In a statement the ASA said, "We considered that Beyonce’s body movements and the camera's prolonged focus on shots of her dress slipping away…created a sexually provocative ad that was unsuitable to be seen by young children." Or the Queen. In related news, Beyonce is discussing her next album, saying it will have a very different feel from earlier projects, being recorded mostly live in the studio. Her TV special, “I Am…World Tour” airs next week on Thanksgiving.
