Aretha Franklin Plans Her Return |

After cancelling a slate of live shows last year to deal with health problems, Aretha Franklin is planning her return to performing. The Queen of Soul, who's dismissed rumors that she underwent surgery for pancreatic cancer, announced a comeback show for late May. She described it as a "network special with a lot of artists coming in to do a tribute for me." Franklin will do her first proper concert dates in June, with a three-night stand at Detroit's Fox Theater.
