Alicia Keys to Re-Release Debut Album |
| Apr 13 2011 |

Alicia Keys is planning to re-issue the album that put her on the map. It was in June 2001 that her Songs In A Minor was released, with its hit single, "Fallin." The album would go on to win 5 Grammys. A deluxe and a collector's edition will be issued on June 28; both special editions will include previously-unreleased bonus materials and remixes; the collector's version will also include a special documentary. In a statement, Keys said, "It's incredibly surreal for me to be celebrating the 10th anniversary of Songs In A Minor. This album is possibly the most precious to me. I'm so proud the songs are still being enjoyed, and I'm crazy-excited to share songs never heard before." The singer is currently working on new music for a fall release.
