Al Jarreau Documentary Underway |

Al Jarreau has had quite a career -- and a French filmmaker has noticed. Writing on his blog, Jarreau revealed that director Thierry Guedj is working on a documentary about Jarreau, and spent a week filming the singer as he performed at New York's Blue Note club with George Duke. "His plan is to do a documentary of my life, in depth and detail, including a visual walk through Milwaukee [Jarreau's hometown], and lots of live performance footage. I am touched." Jarreau added that he's making plans to do some more gigs with a symphony orchestra soon, and is recording new music, as well.
