Adele Talks Stage Fright, Beyonce and Boobs |

Adele graces the cover of the new issue of Rolling Stone -- and in a candid interview, admits to near-crippling stage fright. "I'm scared of audiences," she reveals. "One show in Amsterdam, I was so nervous, I escaped out the fire exit. Once...I projectile vomited on someone." But the 21 year old singer has since learned a trick to control her anxiety, after having met Beyonce and being impressed by her confidence. "I asked myself, 'What would [Beyonce's alter ego] Sasha Fierce do? That's when Sasha Carter was born." The character is a mix of Beyonce and June Carter that Adele invokes when she needs a boost. Later in the interview, she adds that she's OK with being a full-figured gal in a world of skinny pop stars. "I don't like going to the gym. I like eating fine foods and drinking nice wines....I love seeing Lady Gaga's boobs and bum...but that's not what my music is about. I don't make music for eyes. I make music for ears." Adele is currently on the charts with Lovesong.
